“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” – Jeremiah 32:17
Take a step back, relax and think deeply – is there really anything too difficult for God?
O sons and daughters of man, how convenient we find it waiting for hours;
Isn’t it so easy to prepare over days;
And of the placing of repeated calls and messages, what shall we say;
Add in the travels over long distances;
And the list of cumbersomeness goes on, and on.
All in a bid to secure the attention or entreat the favour of a fellow human – a mere mortal of course.
Yet we cannot afford to accord the Sovereign Lord and Creator of ALL as little as a quarter of these sacrifices.
Look inwards and get real.
It takes a lot more to create a universe than to make the objects of fancy and fascination that thrill humans.
These things, we kill and die for.
Whatever your request may be, table it before the Lord.
But remember, answers will come on the basis of His terms and conditions only, not yours or any other human’s.
Indeed, there is nothing too hard for our God.
