“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13.
When you ponder that faith moves mountains and hope keeps the dying soul alive, it ordinarily becomes unbelievable that there can be any virtue, any existing force, greater than these two.
Then enters love (charity) and the universe stands still.
Move all the hills and mountains your faith can afford you;
Intensify the rays of your hope beyond the radiance of the sun;
Exhibit other God-given gifts and virtues in unimaginable proportions if so blessed;
But if you ain’t got love, then you’re missing the most important piece in the pack.
In fact, the scripture says you’re nothing but a clanging cymbal, a noisy gong (1 Corinthians 13:1).
Love remains the greatest of all.
Love conquers all.
In love, true meaning is given to all.
All because God is love.
So significant is love that it alone enjoys a calendar day in every year earmarked to celebrate its importance.
The world may have chosen that day of ‘Reds and Whites’ tagged Valentine’s Day for the expression of this God-given quality but its significance and value are beyond what the frame of one day can contain.
Not even a week nor a month would do for its expression.
Love is year-round in dimension, meant to be administered day by day.
So go on and make this a daily practice in line with scriptural demands.
Make a habit of sharing some genuine love with the world around you out there.
Not just for now or on a single day designated for this, but always, as a lifestyle.
Remain blessed.
