“ In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.” – Deuteronomy 30:16
All of this to what end?
For your good of course, and that of your unborn generations.
Certain aspects of the pleasant or unpleasant ride you may be taking through life were not determined by you.
The likes of Father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David and a host of others, by their choice of obedience to God’s commandments, departed this world leaving behind invoked blessings from God that have lasted through their generations till date.
And on the flipside are the likes of Cain, Esau and many more uncelebrated others.
The actions of these spoke curses into their lineage for centuries.
Now back to you, which of these sides are you on presently and which side would you rather be found?
By sticking out your neck in obedience to your Maker’s rules and regulations, He, in turn, holds out for you and your unborn generation, life, fruitfulness and prosperity wheresoever the soles of your feet shall tread.
Now that this end is known, it’s time to create a beginning of the right actions.
