He’s done it for many before and multitudes more after King David.
You too can get on that list of the anxious and heavy-laden at heart bogged down with spiralling thoughts that only God can and only God indeed mollifies.
The consolation of humans may provide some relief to your concerns.
It may even give some hope and perhaps line your face with a smile.
But the truth is it most likely will leave you high and dry somewhere down the line.

The arm of flesh can never be trusted to accomplish anything alone outside of God.
The consolation of God, as found in His word, is that which truly provides sustainable relief and everlasting joy.
